Royal Reels FAQ: short answers on legal status, licence and withdrawals

Royal Reels was blocked by ACMA in July 2023 after a formal warning to Digibrite S.R.L. dated 14 June 2023, and these answers link to the pages where we track licence, withdrawal and complaint evidence.

FAQ: Royal Reels Status, Licence and Withdrawals

  • Is Royal Reels legit in Australia?

No. The Australian Communications and Media Authority has required Australian internet providers to block Royal Reels since July 2023 for breaching the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, a finding we record as Verified. ACMA’s June 2023 formal warning named Digibrite S.R.L. as the operator. For what the block means for a player’s money, see the ACMA block explained.

  • Is Royal Reels licensed?

No current licence has been confirmed. Curacao’s licence and enforcement registers, checked in September and October 2026, list no entry for Digibrite, Royal Reels or Viral Market, a finding still Under investigation, and the Philippines regulator PAGCOR cancelled all internet gaming licences from 15 December 2024, a status we record as Resolved. Review databases disagree on which licence applies. See the licence and ownership check.

  • Who owns Royal Reels?

Sources disagree. ACMA’s June 2023 formal warning names Digibrite S.R.L., of Nicosia, Cyprus, as the operator, a finding we record as Verified, while review databases separately name Royal Reels LTD and Viral Market LTD, a discrepancy marked Needs clarification. We treat the ACMA record as the primary source. See who owns Royal Reels.

  • Why does Royal Reels keep changing its number?

Because it keeps reappearing at new numbered addresses after each block. Seven ACMA quarterly reports we read, from the third quarter of 2023 to the first quarter of 2026, list 14 or more blocked Royal Reels domains numbered up to 21, a finding we record as Verified. Five further quarterly reports remain unread. See the numbered-domains investigation.

  • How long do Royal Reels withdrawals take?

Estimates vary widely. Review databases checked in July 2026 give times from 10 to 30 minutes for crypto on one New Zealand review site to up to 14 working days by bank transfer, with most quoting 3 to 7 days, a spread we record as Needs clarification. No single figure is confirmed. See the withdrawal findings.

  • Why do players report closed accounts after a win?

Players on Casino.guru and Trustpilot report accounts closed soon after a win, often without a clear reason, a pattern dated 25 July 2026 and recorded as Verified. The company’s replies, as quoted by players, cite “security and risk management procedures”. Separate findings show new document requests after wins even on verified accounts. See account restrictions and KYC.

  • Can I get my money back from Royal Reels?

There is no confirmed path to recovery. ACMA states that Australian law “can’t help” when an illegal offshore site withholds winnings, a record dated August 2023 and marked Verified, and GambleAware NSW separately warns there is no way to recover lost money. If you are out of pocket, Gambling Help Online offers free, confidential support on 1800 858 858.

  • Does BetStop cover Royal Reels?

No. BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, covers only licensed Australian providers, not offshore casinos such as Royal Reels, according to Victoria’s gambling regulator, a finding we record as Verified. ABC News separately reported in December 2024 that offshore operators still contact self-excluded people. See player protection and help services.

  • Is there a Royal Reels app?

No official app has been confirmed. Reviewers disagree: LCB lists an app, other databases describe browser-only play, and four Google Play listings we checked returned a 404 error, a finding we record as Needs clarification as of 6 October 2026. See the transparency check.

  • What are Royal Reels sister sites?

ACMA’s records link operator Digibrite S.R.L. to Reef Reels and, in a further 2025 warning, to The Pokies, a finding we record as Verified. Casino.guru and TipCasino separately name ReefSpins, also blocked by ACMA, as another Digibrite brand. See the ownership record.

  • How do I contact Royal Reels?

Public databases list 24/7 live chat and email, in English only according to Casino.guru, with no phone line reported, a finding dated 28 January 2026 and recorded as Verified. Players describe mixed experiences, from helpful replies to template answers and chats closed mid-sentence. See support and contact details.

  • Is Royal Reels on Trustpilot?

Yes. The brand’s Trustpilot profile shows a 1.8 out of 5 rating, labelled “Poor”, from 176 reviews, with 75 per cent one-star and 17 per cent five-star, a snapshot we record as Verified as of 6 October 2026. See the complaints tracker.

How we checked this

The answers in this FAQ rest on regulator records (ACMA warnings and quarterly enforcement reports), licence registers (PAGCOR), government guidance (BetStop, Gambling Help Online, GambleAware NSW), media coverage (ABC News), review databases (Casino.guru, AskGamblers, LCB and others) and player reports on Trustpilot. We last checked these sources on 6 October 2026. The research desk did not open a Royal Reels account, deposit funds or attempt a withdrawal; our method is set out in full on the methodology page.
