Royal Reels licence claims checked against the official registers

PAGCOR cancelled all internet gaming licences from 15 December 2024, so a PAGCOR licence listed for Royal Reels cannot be current, per our 6 October 2026 register check. This page sets out what the Curacao and other registers show, and what remains unresolved.

At a glance

No official licence or regulatory register we checked shows a current, verifiable licence for Royal Reels, and the company named in connection with the brand does not match across sources.

Main finding

No register we checked lists a current licence for Royal Reels, for the operator ACMA named, or for any of the company names third-party databases attach to the brand. Review databases disagree with each other about which licence, if any, the casino holds: one says none, one says PAGCOR, others say Curacao under two different numbers. Where a claim could be tested against an official register, the register did not confirm it.

ACMA found that Royal Reels breached the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and asked Australian internet providers to block it in July 2023. It holds no Australian licence (Verified, as of July 2023, per ACMA, “ACMA blocks 5 more illegal offshore sites”).

Scope and dates

This investigation covers every licence claim we found attached to the Royal Reels brand, the register or regulator record we checked it against, and the result.

The site-wide last checked date is 6 October 2026 and the last material update was 6 October 2026. The licence and ownership topic is checked monthly; its current status is “Verified: no current licence found; operator named by ACMA”.

The company names we searched for in registers were Digibrite S.R.L. (named by ACMA in its formal warning dated 14 June 2023), Royal Reels LTD (the name used by Casino.guru) and Viral Market LTD (the name used by AskGamblers), plus the brand name itself.

One limitation sits over everything below. No register we checked lists an approved Royal Reels website, so the terms and licence details discussed here come from third-party databases rather than from a regulator-approved source (Under investigation, as of 6 October 2026). We do not open or use the casino’s own sites.

Evidence

What the databases claim

Review databases disagree on Royal Reels’ licence (Needs clarification, as of 2 October 2026).

Which company is behind the brand

Sources name different companies behind Royal Reels (Needs clarification, as of 3 June 2026). ACMA investigated from 8 May 2023 and, on 14 June 2023, formally warned Digibrite S.R.L., of Avlonos 1, 1075 Nicosia, Cyprus, over Royal Reels and Reef Reels under section 15(2A) of the Interactive Gambling Act (Verified, per ACMA, “Formal warning to Digibrite S.R.L.”).

Viral Market LTDAskGamblers, “Royal Reels Casino review”3 June 2026

The registered address is also contested. Databases give Costa Rica and Trustpilot’s self-declared details give Australia, both of which conflict with the Cyprus address in ACMA’s warning (Resolved, as of 14 June 2023). We use the address in the official record.

Method

We started from the licence and company details published by the review databases listed above, then took each claim to the matching official source: ACMA for Australia, PAGCOR for the Philippines, the Curacao Gaming Authority licence and enforcement registers, the Kahnawake permit list and the Anjouan agent’s register.

We searched each register for the brand name and for all three company names used in the databases. The Curacao result was an automated read of the published PDF registers; a manual recheck is pending, which is why that line stays Under investigation rather than Verified.

We did not open an account, deposit or withdraw, and we do not visit or link to the casino’s own sites. Where a database is on our do-not-link list, we name the publisher in plain text instead of linking.

Status labels and dates here are copied from our findings. As of is the date of the information in the source; last checked is when our research desk last looked.

Response from the operator

No response from Royal Reels or its operator is on record in our knowledge base. We invite one and will publish it in full; the operator, or anyone with documents that correct this page, can reach us through our contact and evidence page.

What remains uncertain

The Curacao finding is an automated read of the September and October 2026 registers, and a manual recheck is pending. Until that is done, we say only that no matching entry was found, not that no entry could exist.

The Kahnawake permit list we checked was last updated in September 2023, and the Anjouan agent’s list may likewise be stale. Both lists could lag behind any change.

We also cannot see the casino’s own licence page, because no register we checked lists an approved Royal Reels website. That means we cannot say what licence the site itself currently displays, only what the databases report and what the registers show.

Finally, the company question is not settled. ACMA named Digibrite S.R.L. in June 2023, and warned Digibrite SRL again in July to September 2025 over its brand The Pokies (Verified), but two databases attach different company names to Royal Reels, and we have found no register entry that reconciles them. For who the records tie to the brand and its sister sites, see our licence and ownership page; for the wider pattern of missing and conflicting company details, see our transparency check.

If money is at stake for you, note that ACMA says Australian law cannot help players recover money held by an offshore casino. Free, confidential support is available 24/7 from Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858.

Update history

6 October 2026 — Baseline published. This investigation went live as part of the site’s first full check, drawing on 70 dated findings across ten topics, including the licence checks collected here. See Methodology for how that baseline was compiled.

6 October 2026 — Open. The Curaçao Gaming Authority’s licence registry and enforcement register were read automatically rather than opened and checked by hand. A manual recheck is scheduled, and until it is done the result for Royal Reels on those two registers stays listed as under investigation rather than resolved.

This investigation does not sit on a monthly cadence of its own. Absent a different schedule, we check it on our standard weekly cycle, with the next check following on from 6 October 2026.

FAQ: Royal Reels licence claims

  • Does Royal Reels have a licence?

No current licence has been found in the registers we checked. The Australian Communications and Media Authority found in June 2023 that Royal Reels breached the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and issued a formal warning to the operator, a status we record as Verified. No regulator register we checked lists an active Royal Reels licence. See our licence and ownership findings for the full picture.

  • Is the PAGCOR licence some sites list for Royal Reels still valid?

No. PAGCOR cancelled all internet gaming licences from 15 December 2024 and says claims of a valid licence after that date are fraudulent, a finding we mark as Resolved, per PAGCOR, Offshore gaming. So any database still listing a PAGCOR licence for Royal Reels cannot be describing a current one.

  • Is Royal Reels on the Curacao licence register?

Our automated read of Curacao’s licence and enforcement registers from September and October 2026 found no entry for Digibrite, Royal Reels or Viral Market, a finding we mark Under investigation pending a manual recheck. We treat Curacao licence claims made about the brand as unsupported by the registers we have checked so far.

  • Does Royal Reels hold a Kahnawake or Anjouan licence?

We found no such listing. Neither the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s permit holders list, updated September 2023, nor the Anjouan agent’s register of gaming licences shows Royal Reels, Digibrite or Viral Market, a finding we mark Verified. Both lists may go stale between updates, which we note as a limit on this check.

  • Who actually owns Royal Reels?

Sources disagree, which we mark Needs clarification. The Australian Communications and Media Authority named Digibrite S.R.L., of Avlonos 1, 1075 Nicosia, Cyprus, in its June 2023 formal warning, while other databases list the operator as Royal Reels LTD or Viral Market LTD. See licence and ownership for how each name is sourced.

How we checked this

This investigation rests mainly on official regulator records (ACMA’s formal warning and quarterly reports, and the Philippine regulator PAGCOR’s own statement on cancelled licences), three offshore licence and enforcement registers checked directly, and a set of independent review databases that each publish their own licence and ownership details for the brand. One player-platform record is also cited, where it names a company. We checked all of these on 6 October 2026. The research desk did not open a Royal Reels account, make a deposit or attempt a withdrawal; this page reports what registers, regulators and third-party databases show, not first-hand testing. Our method is set out in full on the methodology page.
